Dan Amitai started DJing at the UMD college radio station under the name Smooth Henry. He uses turntables, laptops and an EFX-1000 with nothing left to lose, mixing dance music spanning many genres. You may have caught him performing at many of DC and Baltimore’s alternative music venues, including Edge, The Black Cat, Rock & Roll Hotel, The Hosiery/Gold Leaf, Warehouse Next Door and the Nerve Center; as well as large mainstream clubs such as Ultrabar, Club Five, Sonar, Eyebar and FUR.
